What a beautiful Rally, what a beautiful country and what an excellent organization. The second participation of the ZTI-Bilashaka Racing Team at the Morocco Desert Challenge 2017 was a great success in all respects. Both in the foreplay and in the aftermath. We will be looking back with a smile for a long time.
The Morocco Desert Challenge began not so smoothly on the first rally day (and night). But after 7 days of racing the hard work and driving resulted in the first position in the 4x4 petrol category. Every day Machiel Honig and Joost Zuurbier climbed higher in the rankings. Live tracking was keeping track of how well there was being performed. Partly made possible by fantastic nightly mechanical work by Patrick Mulder and Jean-Paul de Haan. And let's not forget about the pre-work before the rally. Erik Winder, Arjen Hamers, Frank Straathof and all other colleagues have taken a lot of time to get car #335 ready. A wonderful joint performance that we can proudly look back on.
